Weekend in Cebu Beach

Given the chance, I would live the rest of my life at a place like this breathing the cool fresh air. I bet everyone dreams of it too.

So Proud of Me!

It was indeed pretty long day for me. I did some errands and it went quite well I may say. I had 3 tasks done, these were to have my right foot x-rayed due to flimsiness I had been a month ago, pay for our apartment’s Income Tax and settle our Annual Real Property Tax. It’s just 3 tasks but the areas to have this done are relatively far from each places.

So my first target was Makati where our company’s clinic is located. I decided to commute instead of driving my self to my destination. I took the FX which is the easiest way for me to get to Makati no sweat. I got there at the clinic by 930am and It took me an hour to wait for my turn to be x-rayed. After that I headed myself at the canteen since I only had coffee before I left the house.

My Second destination was Quiapo, where I took another jeepney that runs within the vicinity of Malacanang where I will pay for the ITR. It took me two hours bus ride from Makati to Quiapo that should not be if the driver did not wait for 15mins at every bus stop. It made me more tired sitting and waiting inside the bus. I forgot to bring something to read which I usally do for things like this; the good thing is at least I had eaten before the quest. I arrived at the bank before 2pm and it took me less than 15 minutes to transact which is not the usual.

I’m already feeling proud of myself after finishing these 2 tasks and I’m already thinking of doing the last some other day. But I’m kind of convincing myself that it’s the last one and a little walk from Quiapo to LRT is not that far. I dropped by the famous Quiapo Church to give thanks, ask for guidance and for continuous blessings.

My last quest was Caloocan City Hall. It only took me 15mins from Carriedo to Monumento via LRT. This quite sweating because I had to walk at least one block to 10th avenue to take another jeepney to the city hall. My transaction there was very smooth and went for at least 30 minutes. There are people who assist you where to go and what to do next. They even offer coffee for drink. But I had my energy drink instead. I think these people were hired for this season to assist the tax payer.
I’m all done before 3pm!
So proud of me because being a lethargic person I am this is quite an accomplishment for me.
I went straight home and took a pleasant sleep preparing for my evening plans with my colleagues.
